Hey friends. Surprise! You won’t find me in red & pin on Valentine’s Day. I mean let’s be real, y’all know how to dress for date night by now right? Instead of sharing a day inspired look, I’m going full on bettlejuice today in this amazing striped blazer.
It’s amazing, right?
To be honest, I’ve had my eye on it for a whole now but never pulled the trigger until now. It’s not expensive at all (under $60) but I just wasn’t 100% sure if I could commit to such a bold blazer. The neutral colors sold me but it truly reminds me of Beetlejuice and I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to pull it off. Well guess what, I went for it. And I sorta, kinda love it.

Pairing over a polka dot dress might have been a bold choice but I decided to go big or go boring…and big was the right choice. Fun fact: when I bought this blazer, I thought it was black and white. When I tried it on at home, I thought it was black and white. When I met with Shelby to shoot some looks, only then did I realize this darn thing was NAVY and white. Maybe it clashes with the black dress or maybe it just looks awesome. I’m going with the latter.
I kept the accessories simple an neutral so I didn’t overpower the look too much and am pretty pumped with how it all came together. Wear to dinner or on date night or dress the printed combo down with chucks and an oversized scarf.

What’s so funny is I recently bought this blazer and kept looking at it several times to try and figure out the color. I finally realized it was navy as well. Lol. I am gonna pair it with some boyfriend jeans and heels and possibly a bralette underneath! I think you can do multiple looks with it! I’m Happy to see an unexpected look!
