You probably gathered by now that I’m a proud bottle blonde. Believe it or not – I was actually born with sandy blonde hair. Over time and with the variety of shades I’ve dyed my hair, we’re now at a sandy brown situation. I just can’t help it though – I love the blonde look, especially with my curls! I love this budget friendly (scored at Walmart) alternative to a salon visit and it’s the perfect way to play around with color as you’re looking for that new fall or winter ‘do. I recently went REALLY blonde and although I loved the bright, ashier finish I couldn’t wait to go with a darker shade (Dark Blonde) for the cooler months. style tips

for blondes: have fun with soft neutrals with season. think winter whites, beiges, tans and a pop of blush or burgundy for fun. 

for brunettes: live it up in all the rich, bold hues like royal blue or navy, scarlet red, deep greys and more. 

for red heads: you cannot go wrong with a deep jade green, blacks and rich, warm browns and camel shades.

Step 1. Make sure you start with the safety steps in the package! Use the gloves and try a color patch test.

Step 2. Once you’re all good to go, squeeze the cream color into the developer. Give it a good shake!

Step 3. Apply to hair for all over color.

Step 4. You can leave the color on for up to 30 minutes. I personally only left mine on for 7 minutes as I was going for a slightly lighter finish and my hair was so light to start with.

Step 5. Rinse out completely and use the conditioning elixir provided to keep those locks smooth and vibrant.

Step 6. Style and get ready to shine with your new fall ‘do!
