Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC (“Toyota”) provided me with compensation and use of a RAV4 for a short period of time. The opinions I have shared about this vehicle are my own
I can’t say this enough – B and I have been in DIRE need of a vacation. The past few weeks have been an absolute rollercoaster of emotions (good and bad) and I wanted us to be able to get away and just enjoy eachother and have fun.
If you follow me on Insta or Snap, you saw that this past weekend we took a mini roadtrip in the 2017 Toyota RAV4 to Chateau Elan which is a little less than an hour outside of Atlanta. It. Was. Amazing. Not only did we get to make the trip in the cutest SUV (more on that later) but we had so much fun. We relaxed. We danced the night away at the local pub. We toured the vineyards. We sang along to everything from Drake to Bieber to Whitney (i L-O-V-E bluetooth!). It was such a great trip and much needed for both of us.
I mentioned this over the weekend, but we had the opportunity to try out the Toyota RAV4 for the weekend and it was the perfect car for our little staycation. I overpacked per usual but we were able to fit #allthethings in the back…and also have room for a few road trip snacks (Whole Foods cookies are THE best). I think the bluetooth feature might have been my favorite. I have a slightly older car so I’m always super jealous of cars with bluetooth – it’s safe to say I jumped at the chance to sync my phone and listen to music and make calls completely hands free. I felt like a total #boss. Brandon loved some of the other features like the back up camera and blind spot monitors. He thinks I’m the worst driver in history so he felt a LOT more comfortable with me driving thanks to these extra features.
It was definitely a weekend for the books and we’re already planning our next trip up to the chateau with friends. Check out a few of our favorite highlights and if you have any recs for more local getaway ideas, please share below!
