the perfect combo: knee highs + trouser shorts

As I started writing this post, I realized that all of these items in today’s look are from Forever 21. To say that I am a fan of the affordable, budget-friendly brand is now officially an understatement.

Anyways, with the weather not quite sure of what it wants to be, I decided to pair my cool-weather staples with a fun, lightweight pair of shorts. As we dive into summer/fall/winter, I will definitely be mixing up pieces in my closet to create looks that are both season appropriate and fit with the actual weather – because who would ever turn down the chance to take a style que form Ms. Rihanna herself?
