When it comes to my summer style, I tend to live by the less is more and super easy style rules. You can usually find me in a simple mini dress and flops or a tee shirt and jean cutoffs. If I’m getting “dressed up”, even those looks are usually pretty standard. A cute crop top or bodysuit paired with wide leg pants or a statement printed maxi dress and wedges. Easy.

It’s just way too hot in Atlanta to deal with the fuss of overdoing my looks. Really, no one has time for that.

My overall style is generally pretty minimal so I like to take that approach to my summer wardrobe and just general essence of living carefree during the warmer months – who else is with me?

You just really can’t’ go wrong with a casual dress, a pair of flip flops or sandals a cute resort bag and sunnies.

My Summer Beauty Look…

Just like with my summer outfits, my summer beauty routine is pretty simple as well. Unless I’m getting dolled up for a wedding or special event, I’m either going au natural or wearing a 5 minute/5 product face.

My go-to products are a lightweight tinted moisturizer from NARS topped off with a swipe of bronzer, highlighter, mascara and a neutral lipgloss. If I’m feeling fancy I’ll throw on some eyeliner or a red/coral lip.

What can I say – I’m basic AF.

The point to all of this? Ladies, don’t feel the pressure to go all out and be super trendy this season. Sometimes less truly is more and you’ll feel that much more stress-free when you can just rock a simple look with an even more simple, glowing face.
