Holiday Style with SPANX Tights

Okay I have to be honest with you guys. I’ve never been a huge fan of tights. Ever since I was little, my mom would have to force me to put them on and even then I would try to ditch ’em in the bathroom. As I got older, not much changed. I would rather looks half crazy and freeze in the cooler months than try to slide into pantyhose. If you are anything like me (I can’t be alone, right?) then man do I have a treat for you!

I’ve shared time and time again on Fashionably Lo just how much I love SPANX shapewear, undergarments, activewear, etc. Well y’all – their tights are no different. When I got my first pair of SPANX tights, I fell in love immediately. They don’t ride down, they suck you in, they are super stylish and they pair well with any dress or skirt your holiday heart desires. I’m not going to lie to you. There are still days that I dread putting on a pair of tights because let’s be real, I will almost always prefer a pair of sweats. But when I do decide to get dressed up or need something a little more business formal, I love pulling out a pair of SPANX tights to get the job done.

Today’s look is a dual-purpose one. During the holiday season, I love pulling together outfits that can take me from the office to a holiday party or happy hour. These black opaque SPANX tights are the perfect base for just that. For a 9-5 look, I opted for a winter white mini skirt, grey sweater and booties. To dress things up, swap out the booties for a burgundy pumps and throw on a leather jacket and a sequin clutch and you’re good to go.
