Spring Style with Shoe Carnival

It is about time Mother Nature got her act together. Spring is here and I seriously could not be more excited to bust out the lightweight sweaters, flirty dresses and my ever-so-coveted boat shoes. Keep reading to see how I’m getting my wardrobe spring-ready!

For me, spring is all about ditching the stuffy pieces and breaking out the warm-weather essentials. Besides the fact that I finally get to wear all the florals, I love that spring means working from an outdoor coffee shop, heading to the farmer’s market, grabbing cocktails al fresco with #FashionablyBae and so much more. I recently picked up a few goodies from Shoe Carnival that are seriously perfect for all of my favorite spring activities.

When it comes to creating the perfect spring look to take you from running errands to grabbing coffee, today’s look has everything you need. This lightweight sweater is ideal transitioning piece. You can wear it alone or layer it over a floral tank for the chiller nights. I paired mine with a classic cropped denim and the comfiest boat shoes. I’ve never owned a pair of Sperry’s but am seriously obsessed with these shoes. They instantly transform my casual look into all things spring. I also picked up a Madden Girl tote to carry my other spring essentials – think new flowers to dress up my coffee table, a notebook + MacBook for a quick coffee work sesh and a jean jacket for the cooler afternoons.
