Well friends. This is it. The last blog post of 2018.
I’m going to keep this short but did at least want to fill you in so you didn’t think I disappeared off the face of the earth to leave all of you lovely people in my dust.
This year has been absolutely insane. Lots of travel, some pretty cool projects, nonstop content, the big move, an even bigger fitness journey. There’s been a lot going on and as much as I loved sharing each and every moment with all of you, I decided that I needed a few weeks off. Just like with any other career, it’s easy to get burned out when you’re doing something every day (pretty much all day) for a year.
To be clear, I won’t not be working. I have a long list of things to get done and have set aside a few strategy/planning days but outside of those time blocks, I plan to sit and watch Friends on Netflix (again), get in a few lunchtime workouts and just CHILL.
As we head into a new year, I want to take a step back so I can kickoff 2019 with a fresh perspective. My big goal for 2019 is to create content that inspires and serves as a true resource for each and every single one of you. I want to get more creative with imagery, tell more stories and incorporate more of my life into daily posts.
So, for the next two weeks, you won’t be seeing any new blog posts. I will still be posting content on Instagram because, well, why not. In the meantime, feel free to drop any suggestions or requests for the new year below. And I’ll see you in a few weeks!
Great post! Every person needs a break to recharge and you deserve as many as you want. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!
