Bring Back Date Night

If you were following along with me over on Instagram this weekend, you probably saw that #FashionablyBae and I ventured out for date night at one of our favorite places in the city: Ponce City Market. We teamed up with Rent the Runway and Bonobos to curate the perfect his & her date night looks and took y’all along for the ride as we brought back date night – just in time for Valentine’s Day!

For those of you that don’t live in Atlanta, Ponce City Market is literally your one-stop-shop for all things dining + shopping = exploring + boozing, etc. I kid you not when I say it’s probably my favorite place to go in Atlanta. We go there all the time for date night and whenever we have friends coming into town, we love taking them their to get the full experience.

When we were at PCM a few weeks ago, we ventured up to the rooftop to try out the carnival activities at Skyline Park. After an epic round of putt-putt, we stumbled across 9 Mile Station and couldn’t wait to come back and try the restaurant for date night. So, when RTR asked me to walk my readers through my ideal casual date night with #FashionablyBae, I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

We started with picking out the perfect casual looks from Rent the Runway and Bonobos. I love an all-black ensemble so I went this this adorbs peplum top and chic cross body bag. Brandon is also a huge fan of neutrals he opted for classic denim, a grey wool sweater and that fun maroon scarf. (keep scrolling to shop both of our looks!).

The day began with some shopping at Citizen Supply – the cutest local artisan market a PCM. We love coming here to pickup a little knick knacks and play ping pong. B is amazing and I pretty much suck – but it’s so much fun! After doing a little damage to my wallet, we stopped by The Tap to grab a beer-to-go. By the way, that’s probably one of my favorite things about PCM! You can walk around with your cocktail or beverage – #score. We picked up a few seasonal beers and they hopped around some of the other cute shops in and outside of PCM.

We ended the night on the roof at 9 Mile Station and y’all, it was amazing. We had the most delicious whisky cocktails, devoured ribs and a patty melt, filled up on chocolate pound cake and pistachio creme brûlée then enjoyed a bottle of wine outside by one of the rooftop fire pits.

Check out some of our favorite moments below along with a few cute snaps from my girl Janelle!

It was such a great, low-key night which is one of my favorite ways to spend date night with B. There’s a good chance we recreate this night again very soon – maybe even for another early Vday outing! How are you bringing back #datenight? Sound off below!
