Floral Rent the Runway Spring Dress

Holy Cow y’all. I’m 28. I know it’s not the big 3-0 but something about this number just feels so huge. I’ve been hearing from a lot of friends and family that year twenty eight was a pretty epic one for them. Whether it marked the year of a major career change, new relationships, babies, lots of travel…it seems to be a common theme and I’m pretty pumped to see what this new year of life has in store. 2017 is always off to a pretty awesome start so I can’t help but get super excited for what’s left to come for my 28th year on this planet. 

Now to what you’re really here for…today’s #lotd. This floral stunner is by far a top pick. I have a thing for ruffles and can’t get enough o this Rent the Runway spring dress. It’s so good for birthdays #amiright. 

Now back to the dress. I fell in love with this black and red dress the moment it popped up on my screen. I love anything with ruffles but what I love even more is how understated this look still is. I’m also a little obsessed with this interesting floral pattern. It’s more whimsical that your typical spring print and gives the overall look a good modern feel. This metallic clutch with fringe details seemed like the perfect accessory. It’s not a super obvious choice but I was feeling pretty inspired by our upcoming trip to Mexico in a few months. There’s actually a good chance I’ll rent this exact look to take with us.
