Better Than Butter

When it comes to makeup, y’all know I like to keep it simple. While we were in Italy, my daily makeup look was pretty simple and I couldn’t have done it without the new Physicians Formula Limited Edition Butter Collection Palette. I was already pretty obsessed with the Butter Bronzers and Highlighters so to find all of my favorites in one palette was a true lifesaver, especially for travels abroad. I threw it in my bag along with mascara, eyeliner, a few lipsticks and that’s all I used the entire trip. Seriously, how perfect?

Not only do I love the tropical scent of the Butter products – it smells like a Caribbean vacation exploded on your face…in a good way – but the Medium/Deep Tan palette had all of the shades to give me that warm glow for the countless photos we took on the trip. The best part of the palette? It also includes a fragrance to compliment those island vibes! I wasn’t kidding when I said this was all you’d need.

MY EASY TRAVEL MAKEUP ROUTINE

1. Start with your go-to moisturizer. This is crucial when traveling abroad – my skin tends to get so dry with all of the flights, weather changes, etc.!
2. Apply the bronzer to the 3-zone. Along the cheekbones and around the outer edge of your face.
3. Add a few swipes of blush to the apples of your cheeks for a little extra oomph.
4. Ready to turn it up a notch for dinner or dancing? Try the gorgeous highlighter shade above your cheekbones, along the bridge of your nose and in the corner of your eyes.
5. Finish off the look with mascara and consider adding a lined eye for a “dressier” look
