Vibe No. 1
The direction for this first look was modern yet timeless. We wanted a downtown/city backdrop and the beautiful lines and shapes from the buildings more than did the trick. I opted for a more romantic look with this gorgeous stunner of a dress and paired it with a boho hat for a few photos. Brandon has been really into the bolder suits lately (can’t wait for the wedding day) and although I was against the purple suite at first, I am obsessed with how it photographed! Even more, I love how editorial these photos feel. I can’t wait to get a few printed and displayed around the house.

Vibe No. 2
These might just be my favorite. One of the main style notes I gave to Blakely for our engagement & wedding pictures was that I really wanted that paparazzi style, flash photography. Something about it just feels fun and chic and candid – and she nailed this vibe. We had so much fun running around downtown and I just really feel like these photos capture more of our personality.

Before the shoot, I sent over a mini shot list and notes for Blakely. I 100% trusted her ability to bring our vision to life and also relied on her heavily to bring some of her own vibes to the shoot. And honestly, she (and her hubby Max) killed it! Here are a few of the things we wanted…
