I am SO excited to finally share our deck reveal. It’s a little crazy actually. We’ve been in the house for two years this July and we just got around to getting furniture for the deck. We got the wood replaced and had it painted last year which was a huge step but since then, we’ve just had a blank slate. It has been a great space to get in my home workouts but now that summer is here/around the corner, we decided to finally get some furniture so we could have our own little oasis.

And an oasis it is. I initially had no clue where to start with decor. Did I want to go with a boho vibe? Should we stick with something super modern? I even set up a Havenly account and was going to have a designer do all of the work. And then one day when B and I were at Target picking up a water hose we stumbled across their patio section and ended up leaving the store with his Jeep packed to the brim. Oops.
There was no planning involved but when we saw these different pieces (not displayed together), our vision sort of just fell into place. We love the modern feel but it’s still tropical and easy. It totally gives me a Tulum or Ibiza beach club feel and that makes me SO happy.

Surprise surprise – there are lots of neutrals but the greenery accents make it feel super cozy. The faux boxwood wall is actually not completely done – we still have a little section to complete and we’re waiting on the product to arrive – but I am just so in love with this space. I still have enough room to get in a workout and it has come in clutch for date nights at home.
