First of all. Can I get a round of applause for adding a little (more like A LOT) of color to my wardrobe lately?? I am definitely a lover of all things white, beige, blush, grey, etc. Gimme a neutral and I’ll give you my entire closet. Now while I’m naturally drawn to the lighter, more toned down hues, I can’t help but love a little extra pop of color every now and then. Something about this season has me crushing hard on yellows and greens/blues (I guess that’s summer for you) so when I found this yellow neon midi skirt, I knew right away I wanted to try it with blue shades.
And speaking of summer vibes, today I kick off a marathon of summer travels and I seriously could not be more excited! I’m heading to Lake Tahoe to celebrate the 4th with B’s family (he’ll be in Vegas by the way). I’ve never been to Tahoe and I’m pretty pumped to explore a new place. I’ve been told there will be lots of hiking, boating, swimming and drinking so yeah, sign me up. After Tahoe I’m back for a week and then head to Barcelona, Cuba, Charleston and Chicago! I can’t wait to bring you guys along for the ride so just go ahead and prepare yourself for lots of photos and blog posts coming your way over the next few weeks. I also just booked a major trip last night but am gonna keep that one a secret for a little bit – if I can hold it in.

I’m loving the yellow! I want to see green as your NEW neutral color. Make it a turquoise green which will compliment your hair, eyes and skin tone. I’m in the arts…so what can I say! Turquoise is beautiful in the summer months. Try it and see!
