My Favorite Online Retailers

If you know me, you probably know I love online shopping. I despise going into a mall or into the store. Like seriously, I hate it. I don’t like shuffling things into a dressing room. I don’t like the mirrors and lighting. I don’t like having to haul all of the crap out that I don’t want. And then to have to repeat it over and over? Not a fan. I turned to online shopping years ago and haven’t turned back since.

Now don’t get me wrong, some stores require a try on before a purchase. But over the past few years, I’ve found a few online retailers that I rely on for the majority of my wardrobe. I know my sizing, I know the cuts and brands that fit and I know I like the entire shopping process form checkout to delivery to returns. If you’re like me and love to shop online or are looking to add a few retailers to your Sunday browsing, keep scrolling for my go-to online retailers, what I love about each and a few favorite picks to add to your cart.

ASOS

What I Buy:

Swimsuits (literally 99.9% of the swimsuits I own come from ASOS), dresses and fun accessories

Pros:

Two-day shipping. Go ahead and fork over the $19/year and get free 2-day shipping on EVERY order.

Something for every budget. I typically set my price to max out at $100 and the page is still at that infinite scroll status.

They carry multiple size ranges from their main collection to maternity to plus to petite to tall so no matter your height, body shape, etc. they have something for everyone. I also sometimes like to buy maternity dresses and tops – some of them are really cute and you can’t even tell!

Super easy returns. They give you a label. You drop off the pieces at UPS or the post office and say adios.

NORDSTROM

What I buy:

Classics and basics like t-shirts, jeans and some fitness wear. I also love buying my shoes from Nordstrom.

Pros:

You can choose to pick up the item in your closest Nordstrom if it’s available. I love doing this when I’m looking for something last minute but am a little too lazy to go to the store without knowing I’ll find something.

Nordstrom carries pretty much everything for everybody. From clothing to home decor to tech gadgets, you can shop for you and everyone only our list no matter the season or occasion.

They carry a variety of price points. I tend to set my search to the $25-$50 range when shopping for basics and love brands like BP, Topshop and Wayf.

I love getting my beauty products from here, too. Specifically, my must-haves from NARS!

ABERCROMBIE & FITCH

What I buy:

I’ve never been a skirt fan until I popped into Abercrombie a few weeks ago. Since then, I’ve turned to their site to purchase new summer dresses and even more mini skirts.

Pros:

A modern take on your favorite seasonal classics like crop tops and sundresses for summer, cool jackets and sweaters for fall, etc. They’re no longer your go-to for annoying highs cool preppy vibes. I love the updates they’ve made!

The price point is reasonable and the clothes fit true to size.

If you go in store, their entire fitting room experience is unlike any other I’ve seen before.

Although I just really started shopping here, they’re now on my go-to list for finding affordable and easy to wear pieces.

FOREVER 21

What I buy:

Trendier items and fun dresses and tops. Every now and then I’ll also stock up on cute sandals and accessories. I also love getting sports bras and workout tanks!

Pros:

I honestly can’t believe I still shop here. At almost 30, I guess I’ll pretend I’ll be “forever 21” but I’m happy to say their style and offerings have gotten a major upgrade over the past few years.

Forever 21 is still focused don providing affordable, trendy pieces and that’s something I can get behind. Most thing I buy from them are under $30 and you wouldn’t even know I spent so little.

You have to pay close attention to materials and fabrics. Sometimes certain fabric and cuts don’t fit the curvy ones of us as well but I just have learned to go with maxi dresses or flower numbers!

Great post! Your little outfit is so gorgeous, and I agree that these shops are the best for online shopping. Although I prefer shopping in stores to actually see the clothes before I buy, I agree that the hauling and changing is a hassle.
