

I can’t believe it took me thirty years to get a grasp on the importance of
Rule #1: Make time for you.
And I’m not talking locking yourself in your bathroom with candles and a hot bath. That works, too, don’t get me wrong. I mean carve out some real time for you, during the day, to get away from your normal routine and just BE. For me, I love heading to a coffee shop or cafe with an audiobook or a magazine and just sitting still for a few hours. Because I work from home, I have a little more flexibility with a work schedule so I like to block out time on my calendar at least once a week for me. Maybe a break from 2:00-4:00 after an afternoon of meetings or an early morning solo coffee date before starting the day. I jot it down in my calendar so I won’t cancel on myself.
Whatever you decided to do during this time is up to you. Whether it’s relaxing with a book (don’t forget the SPF – it’s finally patio weather in Atlanta) or lounging on your balcony for an at home mani/
Rules #2: Invest in good products.
In good products that make you feel good. By now you know my love for Olay skincare products. A tried and true brand that doesn’t break the bank or sacrifice quality.
