With the wedding quickly approaching, Brandon and I have both been prioritizing our health so we not only feel our best on the big day but so that we’re the healthiest version of ourselves to start a family. A big part of this journey is eating nutrient dense, balanced meals that fuel our lifestyles. You guys know I’m a fan of meal prepping. It makes eating healthier that much easier and organized. But let’s be real, prepping all of your meals this week can take a good chunk of time and deter a lot of people because of it. Well guess what, I’ve got a little secret tip that is about to change the game.
Meet Walmart+.
Say buh-bye to hours spent at the grocery store and hello to an easier way to shop. A Walmart+ membership gives you free same-day delivery ($35 order minimum, restrictions apply), you can order everything you need for meal prep in as little as ten minutes (speaking from experience over here).
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Write out a list of meals you want to make for the week. I cook for two adults and usually make about 2-3 breakfast options and 3-4 lunch/dinner options (4 servings per recipe).
Step 2: Once you have your meals outlined, make a grocery list of the items you’ll need. Before you place the order, don’t forget to crosscheck your list against what you already have in your pantry and freezer/refrigerator.
Step 3: Login to your Walmart+ account from the Walmart app to order your groceries. You get the same prices as in-store, no markups on items or hidden fees.
Step 4: Sit back with a glass of wine and relax or get in a workout. You got time and options, girl. Feel at ease knowing that your groceries will arrive fresh with same-day delivery.Step 4: Sit back with a glass of wine and relax or get in a workout. You got time and options, girl.
