LOFT Style: Girl’s Night Out

I am so excited to share today’s look with you guys! As part of a fun, new collaboration with the timeless brand, I was asked to style a “Girl’s Night Out” look from LOFT. And for me, a PR girl by day and Style Blogger about 99.9% the rest of time, GNO is all about the ever-so-glam DC fashion scene. Last night, I was lucky enough to attend G.L.A.M.’s 2013 Summer Fashion Event benefiting Safe Shores DC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and working directly with child victims of abuse in the District of Columbia. There were pop-up shops, sample sales, yummy treats and, even better, we were all there to support a great cause!

For the perfect “Girl’s Night Out” LOFT look, I decided to go for something super fun and modern. Two of summer’s biggest trends are tribal-inspired looks and tons of print mixing so I jumped at the chance to style this gorgeous black and white jumpsuit with a beaded clutch and an edgier statement necklace. There is something so chic and effortless about this look, perfect for a night of shopping and mingling with the girls. 

What I love even more about this jumpsuit: it’s versatility. Not only is is this the perfect piece for a night out with your girlfriends, but it can also be easily transitioned for different looks. Fashionably Lo Style Tip:

For the office: Instead of sliding into a par of jeans for your next Casual Friday in the office, try rockin’ a printed jumpsuit with simple accessories. Adding a cobalt blue blazer gives the look a “professional” touch and complements the fun clutch. Keeping the heels more neutral adds a bit of sophistication, tying the whole outfit together.

For brunch: Keeping with the theme of print mixing, style the jumpsuit with a bright printed scarf for an easy and laid back brunch-friendly look. Pair the outfit with comfy gladiator inspired sandals and you’re all set for summer.
