Liverpool Denim for Days

If you know me, you know I’m a jeans girl. Whether I’m running errands, running to date night or running to a meeting, I love a good pair of denim. There is something so effortless and bada$$ about a cool pair of jeans and I just really feel like I can conquer no matter what my day has in store.

What do I look for? Comfort. Length. Curve-happy. Black (usually). So when I scored this new pair from Liverpool Jeans I fell in love immediately. If ya didn’t know, now ya know. Liverpool Jeans is my new go-to. You can’t beat premium denim at non-premium prices. I’m always on a budget so when it comes to buying new clothes, especially jeans that I will wear the heck out of, I look for pieces that don’t break the bank but are still super high quality.

I had what was probably one of the busiest days earlier this week. Started with a 7:00am bootcamp class followed by a smoothie for B and I. Ran home to shower and get dressed and then popped over to the West Side for a client call, planning meeting with Megan and then another in person meeting with one of our clients. Annnnndddd thennnn I scooted over to the opposite side of town for lunch at my favorite salad spot, worked for a few hours and then dashed back over to downtown for dinner with my cousins. It was a crazy day. And on top of that, I left my shoes at the new house and had to rock flip flops. It was a crazy day.

For a day full of meetings (even if I only have sandals) I tend to turn to a classic pair of denim and some sort of chic-working-girl-but still-totally-cool-girl ensemble. I am obsessed with this black skinny jeans and boyfriend blazer combo. I’m never one to shy away from mixing black and navy no matter how many times my momma tells me NO. I love the length of these jeans. They are high waisted which is a true dream for us curvy ladies and are the perfect mix of casual yet still “professional” enough for client situations. And this blazer. Yum! I love the stripes, the darker hue and the fact that it pops against the white cami. You can wear with jeans, denim cut offs, tailored trousers or even over a LBD. Love it all.
