If you follow me on snapchat (lauren_ely), you probably got a good peek at my first time visiting + shopping at At Home a few weeks ago. I’m working on a fun project to give my balcony a complete makeover and made the journey out to Norcross to pick up some goodies. And you guys, it was heavenly. Imagine your favorite budget-friendly home decor store times one thousand. It. Was. Huge. I mean it was the kind of huge where if I would have walked around the whole store, it probably would have taken me three hours. No jokes kids. It was ridic and so amazing and full of so much decor awesomeness.
I stayed mostly in the patio + garden section and it took me a good hour to narrow down just the chairs – there was so much to choose from and everything was so affordable. I started with black + white and then wanted these gorgeous mint and coral chairs and then went to black again and then found a white set with navy striped chairs. It was the right kind of stressful I promise. After locking in the chairs, I spent another hour deciding on a simple table and standing tray situation. And then I was off to the smaller decor. I loved how they had styled decor setups for inspiration and all of the aisles were organized perfectly (by room, by decor type, by genre…so OCD of me).
I picked out a ton of goodies including the cutest rug, a gorgeous green throw pillow and tons of faux succulents to dress up my balcony. All in all, I would say it was the ultimate experience and I’m already planning a trip for when we get back from Napa. I’m pretty sure I need a hammock and a few more plans.
Stay tuned over the next few weeks for a full peek at my haul and the final reveal of my balcony makeover! I seriously can’t wait to share with you guys.
In the meantime, head on over to the At Home site and find a location close to you because you need to get your shop on! You can also visit HGTV’s Spring House webpage for more home décor inspiration.
