Fuel Your Own Motivation

I get questions all the time about how I stay motivated. My biggest tip for you is this: Switch things up!

Tip #1: Try something new.

Nothing screams boredom like sticking to the same routine every single day for months on end. One of my favorite ways to stay motivated when working towards my fitness goals has been trying new types of workouts. From dance classes to a super fun aerobics class, I’ve been totally open to trying it all.

Tip #3: Plan it out.

I write down all of my workouts for the week in my calendar. If I’m going to the gym, I’ll map out each exercise with reps/sets. If I want to do a class, I book it and make an appointment in my calendar so I don’t skip it. I do the same with my meals. I like to meal prep every Sunday and plan out a menu for the week so I stay accountable and avoid eating out every day!
