Spring has sprung my friends. Get ready for patio brunches, little white dresses, straw crossbody bags…and spring cleaning
Not excited about the overhaul of getting your place ready for spring? No worries – check out some of my go-to tips below!
Spring Cleaning Tips
Make three piles. Keep – Throw – Give. Before you start the cleaning process, I always love to sort through the clutter. If you haven’t worn it or used it in the past year, it goes in the THROW or GIVE pile. GIVE is for the items that are gently used and would be perfect for a new home (you can also sell items if that’s more your style). THROW – well it’s self-explanatory. Toss the more damaged items into the trash and say good riddance.
Stock up on the goods. Now that you’ve cleared out the clutter, it’s time to fill up your cleaning arsenal. That’s where eBay comes in and lucky for you, we’re smack dab in the middle of their Spring Cleaning Event! They’re offering up to 50% off and free shipping. Find out all the deals here.
Fact. There are approximately 1.1 billion listings at any given time. Yes. You read that correctly. Over one BILLION listings at any given time. You better believe you can have some great things to choose from when it comes to stocking up your spring cleaning arsenal. And once you’d picked out your cleaning goodies, get ready to get excited because eBay ‘s Guaranteed Delivery ensures delivery in three days or less on more than 20 million items. Check and check.
I’m such a weirdo and have always been obsessed with vacuums so when I saw that they had everything from Hoover to Dyson to Bissell…I was a kid in a candy store.

Make a list. Am I the only one that gets totally overwhelmed when it comes to cleaning? I’m the first one to just hire a cleaning service but because one of my Thirty Before 30 goals was to become more financially responsible so, cinderella-mode it is. to help calm my nerves, I like to make a list of everything I need to clean. From the baseboards to the windows, I jot it all down and then cross it off as I’m done. If I know it’s going to take me more than a day (which let’s be real, it always does), I try to assign a few tasks to each day and it helps to keep my organized and more efficient.
Ok.
