Happy New Years, y’all! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday “break”. I took the past two weeks off to unwind (for a quick second) and get some major 2017 planning done. But now I’m back and more excited than ever to bring you awesome content in the new year.
If you follow along on Snapchat or Instagram, you’ve probably seen by now that #FashionablyBae and I recently started Cyc Fitness spin classes. I have always been the biggest fan of spin and cycling so when I had the opportunity to team up with Cyc Fitness to kickoff the new year, I obviously couldn’t wait.
If you aren’t already familiar with Cyc Fitness, they’re an indoor cycling studio that offers up the most upbeat + fast paced rides that literally work your entire body. The playlists are epic. The arm and weights portion is super challenging. And the best part, you have fun and completely forget you’re working out. Brandon and I love to go together and we eve get a little competitive (I always have to turn his resistance up!)
Instead of setting formal resolutions this year, I wanted to set goals for achieving a better version of “me” in 2017. That includes a better and healthier lifestyle. Rather than waiting until January 1st, I started a little early and set out to get my feet wet with a few Cyc classes during the holidays. Today marks the official launch of my so called “journey” and I can’t wait to take you guys along for the ride. In addition to starting #Whole30 today (more on that later), I’m committing to taking at least three to four Cyc classes per week. Wish. Me. Luck.
Keep a lookout for updates on throughout my Cyc journey on social media and check back at the end of the month for a full progress update. My goal is simple: to feel better, get stronger and kickstart a much healthier lifestyle. In the meantime, find a studio near you and use code FASHIONABLYLO17 to get your first ride for free!

Happy New Year!!!!
I’m also trying to incorporate a workout regimen in my life starting today. I’m hoping I will keep at it until I find something I like and then build on it. I tried spinning a few years back and stopped after 3 or 4 minutes. Maybe I’ll try it again later!
Great post!
