Fun fact. I started my blog back in 2012 as a way to serve up affordable fashion for everything from the office to a casual weekend. I loved getting dressed for my 9-5 and quickly became obsessed with hunting down the perfect affordable work dress. It was the only thing I wore and probably the one thing I stocked up the most of. I avoided suits and skirts and loved how easy a good dress could be when trying to figure out what to wear.

Fast forward to today and I gotta tell ya, I haven’t worn a good “work dress” in a while. The most business casual I get is with a blazer and ripped jeans but I still love a dress even if I don’t have much of a reason to wear one.
Whether you’re like me and just love having some affordable work dresses in your closet just in case or you are on the hunt for some new stunner to rock to your Wednesday staff meetings, these under $100 finds are going to look GREAT on you!
no. 1 Pretty Prints

I’ll always love a good print, especially in an office setting. If you can get away with a bold pattern or print, these animal and graphic prints are pure perfection. Need to tone it down for a more conservative setting? Throw on a neutral blazer or layer over a white button-down.

no. 2 Warm Hues

I am all for the warmer shades right now. Oranges and reds seem to flatter every skin tone and they are such a great statement piece. Pair with neutral heels or a black blazer for a more formal meeting or rock to happy hour with a red lip.

no. 3 Little Black Dresses

Every woman needs a good black dress and same goes for your workwear. I have quite a few black work dresses in my closet now mainly because they can easily be dressed up or down. Every now and then, we need that classic silhouette in a simple color and a black work dress is the perfect solution.

no. 4 Fall Neutrals

When it comes to my fall color palette, I’m all for good neutrals and that doesn’t just mean beiges and greys. Sure, I love a good cream sweater dress but I’m also leaning heavily into olive and navy this season!
