Last night, I had the honor of attending and covering the 21st Annual Summer Sinatra Soiree hosted by the Capital Club of Washington. Deemed as one of the “Best Parties of 2011” by Washingtonian Magazine, I was not at all disappointed. An evening full of yummy bites, sparkling cocktails and amazing fashion, I was so excited to be among some of DC’s finest and most fabulous.
I immediately fell in love with the swanky and sophisticated vibe. The band. Amazing. The drinks. Amazing. The venue. Pure perfection. With the attire calling for “strong cocktail”, you can only image the gorgeous looks circulating through the event. Lots of sparkle, bold colors and fabulous prints — just a few of my favorite things 🙂
About The Capital Club: The Capital Club was founded in 1980 as a social organization and has since evolved into a nationally recognized organization. The Club’s signature annual events, the Sinatra Soiree and Santa Soiree (definitely want to attend this year!), are among the most well-known annual events among the Washington D.C scene. The Capital Club is committed to its support for local and national charities and community causes, most notably the Trey Lefler Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of the South. I love that this organization works hard and parties even harder 🙂
