Two Ways to Style a White Blazer

Raise your hand if you love a white blazer! I kid you not – I think a boyfriend-fit blazer is the one thing every single girl needs in her closet. Whether you’re a total boss babe or just love to play it casual, this versatile piece is something you can literally wear hundreds of ways. Well, maybe hundreds. At least two.

Catch two of the ways I wore this closet staple while I was in Chicago along with a few tips for dressing it up or down!

Style No. 1: Boss Babe Chic

You’ll notice a trend with both of these looks. I opted for a shorter option for the bottom half of both outfits. Why? I love the balance of a longer boyfriend blazer with something that shows a little leg! These blush satin shorts were so perfect for the TBSCon Welcome Party. Casual yet not too informalI have been waiting to wear these shorts all season long and just never really found the perfect pairing…that is until I scooped up this white blazer. By the way, after I purchased before Chicago,I realized I had about two other identical blazers in my closet. oops!

I love a casual tee dressed up so pairing it with the blazer and silk shorts seemed like an obvious choice for a night out. To still give off that badass boss vibe, I went with simple, neutral colors. The white, black tee and soft pink all go really well together without being too much color or texture. I added a fun detail with the fringe earrings and kept the accessories more neutral.

Style No. 2: Flirty & Fun

So this might sound so strange – but I think this might be one of my favorite looks I’ve ever worn. #vainmuch I can’t help i! I was never really a fan of the bandeau trend but after trying on this skirt and blazer together in store, I had this vision of a beige bandeau and neck-scarf bandana situation – an I was so excited to bring it to life for the last day of TBSCon. I received so may compliments!

The full look felt on trend without being too trendy – a fine balance that us harder than it sounds to master in my opinion.  I think the more neutral color palette made it all work and the fact that is was simple but cool without really trying. I will say I had quite a few almost-nip-slips. Again, oops!
