Yesterday I shared some of the things I was doing to kickoff a healthier lifestyle…hello, #Whole30! In addition to getting back in a fitness routine and eating a better diet, I’m also using the start of a new year to give me skin a little winter boost. Let’s. Be. Real. I cannot be the only one looking a little pastey this season.
Since I don’t foresee any plans to take a cruise or last minute trip to the Caribbean over the next month or so, I’m pretty pumped to get a much needed pop of color with Palm Beach Tan. I personally love their sunless spray tans to help me get that perfect subtle glow. Not only is a little color the perfect accessory for my winter wardrobe, but I think it also makes my blonde locks look a little less dull. I’ll be totally candid with you. My favorite winter pick me up is giving myself a manicure using a bright nail color to remind me of spring/summer! I also love a nice cup of coffee to brighten up a dull winter day☀️☕️! During the holiday and winter months I tend to do less for me and it’s nice to take a minute on occasion for ourselves????.

My favorite winter pick me up is spending a day shopping with my girlfriends! I always love picking out a few new outfits to update my winter wardrobe to feel a little more confident during these sluggish winter months.
No matter my mood or bank account, I always make time for a good pedicure. I could give myself one, yes, but there’s nothing better than relaxing in a massage chair, headphones in and shutting out the world and “re-waking” to a beautifully colored set of toes! It keeps me sane and gives me the me time that I think everyone deserves after a long work week!

My favorite pick me up is getting my hair done & getting a pedicure. Even though no one will see my pedicure during the winter, it still makes me feel put together and of course it feels wonderful!
My favorite winter pick me up is a trip to the salon! ????????????????People usually do ‘darker’ for the winter months but I like to add in some highlights to make myself feel ‘fresh when it comes to my hair’. Also getting a manicure with a vibrant, spring like shade is a must. I love getting waxed in the winter months too, NO no shave November for this girl! ????????

i have seasonal depression so a tan is truly my best pick me up. i try to give myself a little extra warmth every once in a while with a tan, hot yoga, and cup of tea to end a busy work day; it’s honestly the only way to get me out of the house on a cold winter day

It sounds crazy but running outside! It gets my blood flowing, and reminds me there is life outside of Netflix and the couch! Plus you burn more calories running in the cold!

Working out during this season is my favorite pick me up. The cool winter chill energizes me and motivates me to get moving and to burn those extra holiday calories. You look as good as you feel, so being active not only boosts my metabolism, but my energy and my overall mood as well.
I make fresh fruit smoothies or I put on a “summer vacation” movie…tricks my brain into thinking it’s warm and sunny outside! ????????

Helps me escape the hum-drum winter blues to an early “summer-time” paradise, at least in my mind.

My favorite way to banish the winter blues is putting together a playlist of all my favorite songs from the past summer (or summers!) and blast it as I do miscellaneous tasks, or as I’m getting ready in the mornin…in front of a toasty warm space heater!!

Using Step 2 of the Clinique daily regimen. It takes all the yucky stuff and residual makeup that might be left. It just makes me feel fresh and bright.
