Vacation Wash-n-Go

This post has been sponsored by SheaMoisture. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This month has been full on nonstop travel. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, BUT, if I’m being honest, my hair can definitely feel the consequences. A month worth of sun, sand, water, humidity, heat, etc. My hair has been a little all over the place. Between being too dry and frizzy to keeping my color-treated curls fresh, I’m constantly rethinking my vacation-ready hair routine.

This might come as a surprise but just because I have short, curly hair, I can’t literally just wash my hair and go. I started using SheaMoisture products about two years ago and haven’t turned back since. This month, I started testing out different combinations for the perfect on-the-go curls while on vacation and I think I finally mastered it! I picked up some new goodies from SheaMoisture’s Coconut & Hibiscus line at Walmart and am so in love with the results.

When it comes to my hair routine, I look for products that will keep my curls hydrated without being too greasy. I like the perfect amount of hold and definition without sticky, crunchy curls. Curious how I do it and all under 5 minutes? Watch the full tutorial below!

Step 1: Wash your hair as you normally would. Towel Dry.

Step 2: Spray a few spritzes of the Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisturizing Mist. Comb through and make sure roots to ends are covered. I love how this preps my curls and keeps them soft and shiny.

Step 3: Apply a small amount of the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie to coat your curls. This keeps them hydrated and defined.

Step 4: Scrunch in a little amount of the Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle. I like to finger curl a few pieces and use my fingers to also separate some of the curls that might get stuck together.

Great post and video! I’m envious that you can keep your hair routine under 5 min! With waist long straight hair, it’s an ordeal to get it ready lol!
