tres chic

The fashion world has been telling us for years that every women must have a “Little Black Dress”.  While I totally agree with this stylish rule, I think I have become an even bigger fan of the “Little WHITE Dress”. With temps in what feels like the high 100’s, we clearly skipped over spring in DC. In order to catch up with this amazingly hot weather and summer-like energy buzzing throughout the city, I HAD to pull out this white shift from Banana Republic. There is just something so classic and chic about the simplicity and feminine aspects of a little white dress, hence my oh-so-clever title. And it seemed like an obvi choice to throw on a fun heel. The whole black and white trend is clearly one of my favorites so picking this heel (the best bday present ever -thanks mom!) was a no brainer. I love how the graphic print and studs add a little edge and personality to the look.
Another great thing about the white dress – it screams versatility. Although this is the perfect piece for the office, you can make it date-night ready by pairing it with a fun blazer or denim jacket. Looking for something more GNO friendly? Pile on the bold baubles and slip those sparkly toes into a sky high stiletto and you’ve got a look that is both super sexy (without looking like a sleezey) and flirty.

Banana Republic dress (similar here, fashionably-lo-pick here), Zara heels, Michael Kors sunnies (want these next!), Forever 21 earrings (similar)
Oh, and a quick note, this is another outlet find: I scored this dress for $15 at the Banana Republic outlet in Hagerstown on my way back form Pittsburgh a few weeks ago….how lucky/perfect/I-need-one-in-every-color!
xoxo,
Lo
