When it comes to closet staples, I think I have found the one piece I literally won’t be able to stop wearing this season. Let me introduce you to the herringbone blazer. The blazer – nothing new. I’ve loved a good boyfriend blazer since they first came on the scene a few years back (well – after the whole 80’s shoulder pad situation) and I haven’t looked back since. Over the past few months, we’ve seen our favorite fashion icons and inspirations rocking this librarian-chic herringbone blazer trend and I seriously love it.
I’m sharing a full recap for our super quick trip to Asheville tomorrow (teaser: there may or may not be a video) but couldn’t wait to share this classic look from our day at The Biltmore. I wanted something cozy yet still chic because, I mean, we were spending a day on a grand estate. Let’s be real – a herringbone blazer seemed like the perfect piece. It’s classy and warm and if I’m being totally candid, it’s boss AF.
To keep things simple and modern, I wore my go-to high waited jeans with a tucked in tank. I opted for these comfy sandals but soon regretted it with the morning’s 40 degree temps. I didn’t quite pack for this trip like I should have but luckily, it warmed up to the 60s later that afternoon!
This look couldn’t have been more perfect for the busy day we had – again, more on that in tomorrow’s post. I was comfortable all day and felt like I fit right in at the Biltmore. Now, if I could just move in and get my own suite and quarters…
Your outfit was made for this backdrop! I’m ready to open my Christmas Blend!

i sort of already opened mine…and drank both bottles. oops guess we gotta go back!
I bought the same blazer from Target a couple of weeks ago and can’t stop, won’t stop wearing it! Love the way you styled it here! I hadn’t tried it with lighter wash denim yet, but now I’m excited to do so!
Isn’t it the BEST BLAZER EVER!!!!
Beautiful! I love how you styled this blazer with ripped jeans for a casual look. I just love your style and way you piece things together.
