If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen me talk about my love for a good tinted moisturizer. As someone who doesn’t love wearing makeup, I’m constantly on the hunt for lightweight options that I can rock with ease. A tinted moisturizer is a must, especially since I don’t wear foundation.
I started wearing tinted moisturizers right out of college after coming across Laura Merciers version (another great option) and haven’t looked back since. It’s the perfect base for any look and adds a little bit of color without totally blurring out your face. If that makes sense.
Now, I get it. We all have different skin types. I thank my momma every day for passing along her skin complexion. I’ve never seen her or my dad with a breakout that lasted more than a day or two – and I inherited the same luck. But regardless of skin complexion, breakouts, etc. I think it’s time we stopped using makeup to cover up and instead use it more to enhance and accentuate and just have fun! More on that another day. Okay, ladies. I’ll tell you the truth. You need to give this NARS tinted moisturizer a try. I don’t rave about a lot of makeup products often but this one is the exception.
no. 1 The perfect foundation alternative. I wear foundation maybe five times a year – maybe less. My everyday look, even my most “glam” look uses this tinted moisturizer as a base. It offers great lightweight coverage and lasts all day. no. 3 It lasts…for a long time. Nothing is worse than having to stock up on the pricier makeup products every few weeks. I use this product daily and it lasts me a few months. You only have to apply a small amount and it lasts all day so you won’t go through it too quickly.
