This post was written in collaboration with Bed, Bath & Beyond. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
We have been slowly moving into the new house. And by slowly, I mean at tortoise pace. We aren’t technically moved in and literally the only room that’s fully unpacked is the kitchen. We don’t even have a stove or our new refrigerator yet. But, alas, we have a kitchen ready to go for our first meal… whenever that might be.
With any great kitchen comes the perfect dining space. I’m still not sure if this little table + chair setup will remain in the “breakfast nook” or be moved to the dining room but you better believe I’ve got table-settings on my mind regardless.
Whether B and I are ordering take-out or sitting down for a fancy meal or special occasion at home, I wanted to have a few different options for tablesettings and that’s where Bed, Bath & Beyond came in.
Not only do they carry everything you could possibly need for your new or current home but the
I popped in over the weekend to pick out a few different tablesetting options and can’t wait to finally cook a meal so we can use them!
Au Casual…

For more laid back evenings, I wanted to go with simple and clean. The color-scheme in our house is going to be in the neutral zone for sure so lots of beiges, whites, blacks and greys. Especially now that I’m decorating for myself and a man, I didn’t want anything to be too girly so I thought neutrals were a great way to keep us both happy.
Same goes for our tablesettings. Since this specific setting will be for take-out, pizza night, breakfast on the weekends and more casual nights at home, I opted for these beige
I am obsessed with the salt & pepper holder (instead of shakers!) and the darling olive oil canister.

Fancy for Two

For special occasions or when we’re just looking to class things up a bit, I’m loving the idea of grey, silver, marble and white. Not too girly (as in florals and pink) but still feminine and fancy enough to change things up a bit from our more casual setting.
This setting definitely gives me that super cute restaurant vibe and will look amazing if we end up moving the table to the dining room. I decided to keep everything in the same white + grey family to serve as a perfect canvas for dinner parties. I can’t wait to pile fresh cheeses on our new board, fill the glasses with wine from Italy and just enjoy a gorgeous night at home after a long day.

Great post! Your set up is lovely and I love how simple and minimal it looks. Nothing too much or overcrowded, just simple. I love the brights whites and crystal. Gorgeous!
