Summer Picnic at the Eiffel Tower

It’s hard to believe that almost three weeks have passed since our trip to Paris. I’ve said it before but this was by far one of my favorite trips to date. I mean, that should really come as no surprise. Bread. Cheese. Wine. Cafes. The fashion. Yeah, it was amazing. While it’s hard to pick out just one highlight, I think our summer picnic at the Eiffel Tower was definitely a top pick.

We spent the morning exploring some of the great gems around Paris with Katie (our kickass photographer). Stopping by the Eiffel tower before it got too crowded was the perfect home base for our picnic. Dressed in our favorite summery looks from White House Black Market (believe it or not we did not try to coordinate on purpose), we packed our basket with wine, cheese, the freshest berries from a local market and lots of bread.

I couldn’t believe how quiet it was that morning and it felt like we had the entire ET to ourselves – so magical. We talked about our favorite moments on the trip, planned our day trip to Versailles and just enjoyed this precious Parisian moment in all it’s glory. It was literally the best morning.

I fell in love with this white eyelet dress as soon as I saw it online and knew it would be the perfect piece for summer picnic abroad. Paired with a jean jacket for the chillier temps and these adorable neutral wedges, I found my new summer uniform.
