I think I’ve said this before – but summer truly is one of my favorite seasons. Not only does it bring back the nostalgia of summer vacation from when we were younger but I just love all the summer things. Al fresco brunches, frozen cocktails, beach travels, maxi dresses…the list goes on and on. I mean let’s be real, there’s just a total mood shift when it comes to summer. Sure, in Atlanta it’s gross AF outside – BUT every now and then we get those perfect warm days with almost zero humidity and it’s something to celebrate.
As much as I love all of the epic summer activities, I think I love stocking up on summer essentials even more. It almost doesn’t get much better than denim cutoffs, a cool boater hat, 10000+ pairs of sunnies that pretty much all look the same and one too many off the shoulder maxi dresses that totally come in handy for last minute summer getaways….I said almost.
One of my must have essentials for summer is the perfect bronzed glow. Now, while I usually get this from at least one good beach vacay during the summer (#ThankYouTahoe), I typically find myself wanting to maintain that summer glow a little longer than a week. As my momma always said – fake it, don’t bake it.
