Save the Dates Reveal

A few months ago, I shared a little peek into the moodboard and inspiration for our wedding stationery. I am SO excited because we have another big moment to celebrate: our Save the Dates have officially gone out. It’s getting real folks.

I don’t know what it is about this one thing getting crossed off the list but now that our friends and family are starting to get details about our big day, I am just SO excited and ready for August 28th. To be honest, I haven’t been able to stop drooling over these amazing Save the Dates that Casey designed. They just feel like US in every way imaginable.

There are so many details that Casey brought to life through this design. It should be no surprise that we went with a neutral color palette. I mean, if ya know me ya know this was a no brainer. We’re planning to use this same palette for all of our day-of paper/design so I love that we started weaving this element in early.

I am also obsessed with the unique texture of the palm leaf. I’ve never been much of a floral girl and although there will be some flowers at the wedding, we’re leaning towards more of a greenery and natural vibe (spoiler: we may or may not include some citrus fruit). When Casey told us she could wrap the Save the Dates in a faux palm leaf I almost screamed out loud. Such a fun & unique way to add in some texture.

One of the things we really wanted for our Save the Dates was a personal element that really showcased who we are as a couple. Casey did such a great job of bringing this to life through the “Party All Night Long” wording and the stamps. Brandon is an architect so she found these vintage stamps that really play into his love for design and my love for unique imagery. Just so in love.

Last but not least, the photo strip. This was actually a last minute edition and I am SO glad we added it. To be honest, I initially didn’t want to include any photos. I’ve seen photo cards done a lot and I wanted something a little more elevated/unique. So, once we finalized the design and sent everything to print. Right as Casey began assembling the cards, Brandon made it known that he wanted to include photos after all (boys am I right?). Casey got to work and shared a few ideas at the last minute – and I love how they turned out.

I can’t wait to start working on our invitations in a few months because we already have some really cool ideas – stay tuned!

check out some of the earlier iterations of the design!
