If there is one thing I know to be true, it’s that coffee is one of the greatest gifts to earth. Iced, an extra shot, topped off with chocolate…I meant the list just goes on and I absolutely love every version of the caffeinated heaven in a glass.
Two of my goals for 2015 are to cook at home more often and stop giving Starbucks all of my money so this post is the perfect way to kick off the year. I typically have coffee every morning (no seriously, every morning) so coming up with delicious and unique flavor profiles is something I’ve enjoyed over the last few months. One of which is this homemade cinnamon + vanilla simple syrup. The perfect addition to coffee, lattes or even my chai tea, this healthier and unprocessed syrup is definitely one of my favorites.
