Holiday entertaining season is right around the corner and you guys, I am excited. We’re hosting Thanksgiving for the first time and i’m a little nervous. Not even going to lie. When it comes to cooking, you could say I’m quite the novice but if there’s one thing I’m not nervous about it’s how ready I am to open up our home to our family. We’ve been in the house now for a little over two years and I think we’re finally at a place where it feels “done”. We have our guest room ready for anyone who chooses to spend the night and the Man Cave is decked out for a movie marathon the morning of Thanksgiving. We’re ready.
The finishing touch is making sure all of the carpets are clean and I’m happy to say it looks like we just paid a few thousand dollars to get them professionally done – and in reality we used a $300 piece of equipment. Yeah, I love to see it.

Fun fact: did you know you’re supposed to clean your carpets three to four times a year?
Meet the SmartWash Pet Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner. A homeowner’s best friend. This machine makes carpet cleaning as simple as vacuuming. Simply push forward to wash and pull back to dry. Yeah, I told you I was easy. And if you have pets, this 100% simplifies life. You can effortlessly remove dirt, stains and pet messes.
I’m now a huge fan of cleaning our carpets before the holidays and after our guests leave. There’s something peaceful about seeing those clean lines after you run this machine through your house. Believe me.
I mean. Look at this dirt! I feel so much cleaner knowing this stuff isn’t in our carpets anymore.

The SmartWash Pet Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner is available at Hoover.com, Amazon, and national retailers for $299. It includes an Antimicrobial Pet Tool, Trial Size Spot Chaser Pretreat Stain Solution, Trial Size Paws & Claws Carpet Cleaner Shampoo, 8 ft. Attachment Hose, and Accessory Storage Bag.

I need to do this with my carpets SO BAD and my rugs. I’m terrified to see how disgusting they are though.
