I’m going to go ahead and admit this now – Lola’s nursery has been done for a while. Like months. Now, granted, I go in there every few days and change things around, reorganize, add something new, take something away. Bur for the most part, her room as been complete since January. A whole entire SIX MONTHS prior to her anticipated arrival. What can I say? I’m excited.
Getting her room setup has not only been so much fun but it’s been really special creating a space that will be just for her. I get a little emotional every time I walk in her room or sit in the rocker and read her a book (to my tummy of course). And I’m not gonna lie, I love the way the space turned out. The light neutrals and cozy textures just make this the most calming room in the house and I love that for all of us.
