New Morning Routine

I really can’t get believe it’s 2019. I get pretty excited at the start of a new year and it’s not because it’s time for new goals or resolutions or a fresh start (those are all pretty exciting by the way). But for me, I just love the fact that we have a whole year ahead of us with new adventures and experiences and opportunities. B and I have a ton of things planned for the year ahead but one of the things I’m most excited about is continuing my health journey.

I made some major progress in 2018 and this new year is sure to bring on even more. However, I’m a little stressed. Not only do I run two businesses but I also try my hardest to make it to the gym 5-6 days a week, maintain a personal life and, well, so much more. Safe to say I’m all about ease and being on the go.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you don’t have to sacrifice your health when it comes to finding the perfect easy on the go snacks. I recently picked up some new goodies by Del Monte and they’ve made my new morning routine that much better.

My Morning Routine

6:00am No more “snooze”.

Trying my hardest to be up at 6:00 every morning – wish me luck. I throw on my gym clothes (pro tip: lay them out the night before) and head downstairs without waking up B.

7:00am Sweat sesh at full force

After the perfect morning snack, it’s off to the gym or a group class to get in a workout. I love starting my day with a good sweat, and nothing beats getting it out of the way so you can’t make up excuses later.

9:30am Breakfast + email check

By now, I’m ready for a smoothie and an extra serving of patience to tackle my inbox. I sit down at my desk, open my laptop and fire away. I also use this time to prep my to-do list for the day and make sure all posts for the blog are published or ready to go for a later push.
