I think I might have a slight obsession with stripes. The struggle…or fun (??)…is real.
Last week I went on and on about striped dresses. As much as I love a striped dress, I think I love a striped matching set even more. And to be honest. I didn’t think I could really pull it off. A head to toe look. In stripes. With flow fabric. On top of curves. Seriously, I didn’t think I’d be setup for success. But y’all! I’m obsessed 100%. So much so that I’m now on the hunt for more striped bathing sets that I can rock all season long.
Whether you’re already an OG fan like me or looking to ease into the matching set trend, you can’t go wrong with any of these options below!

Styling a Matching Set: 101
- Have fun! Whether it’s stripes or polka dots or a solid color, have fun with it. I like to keep my color palette pretty neutral so I tend to play up the pattern.
- Don’t be afraid of going monochrome. On the other end of the print spectrum, I sorta also think an all tan set would be totally bomb and anything BUT boring.
- Get comfy with it. Your main focus when picking out a matching set is to find one that is equal parts chic AF and comfy AF. A looser pant and breezy blouse or crop top is the way to go.
- Don’t spend a ton of money. Who knows how long this whole matchy matchy trend will last. Instead of splurging on degree duds that might not translate in future seasons, try more affordable options that won’t hurt your pocket.
That denim tank/culotte combo is amazing. You always find the best stuff at Asos!

That dress is so pretty. I love the colors of it.
Great post! That look is so gorgeous on you, and it looks really comfortable. I’m not one for matchy matchy sets, but honestly yours almost looks like a jumpsuit, which I love jumpers. Gorgeous!
Gimme all the stripes! Such a great look <3
