Transitional Style with Maggy London

As you all know by now, in addition to Fashionably Lo and Adorn, I also work in a corporate PR job. That means 9-5, business casual attire. In the past, I’ve shared a few of my favorite trends and looks for the office but I always struggle to find dresses that can easily transition from desk to drinks to brunch and so on. Lucky for me, Maggy London has a ton of options for every  occasion. I’ve been a fan of Maggy London for a while now and I  love that the brand has a variety of shapes, fits, colors and prints that are definitely suited for any and all of us.

To truly show off the great versatility the pieces have, I’ve teamed up with the fashion brand to style two of my favorite dresses from their collection of New Arrivals (I obviously have a thing for blue this season). Keeping reading for outfit deets and make sure you check back next week for another fun look and an exciting giveaway!

For the Office: Lace can sometimes be a little much for the office but this blue and black number is perfect for a day of business meetings and overall all #girlboss awesomeness. To make it 9-5 appropriate, I paired it with a structured white blazer, neutral heels and a bold red lip. You could also throw on a pair of opaque tights, a black pump and a cozy pashmina for those chiller days.

For Happy Hour: To take this dress from desk to cocktails with your girls, you kind of can’t go wrong with OTK boots and simple accessories. This leather wrap belt is the perfect piece to add a break up the feminine dress. Throw on a leather jacket or studded cross body for that extra bit of edge.

For Meetings: Does anyone else ever have those days where you’re running around from meeting to meeting to appointment and so on? This navy fit & flare is uber girly and comfy so I’d keep it simple. A classic trench coat is the perfect way to say “I mean business” and the leopard heels definitely don’t hurt the situation.

For Brunch: The best thing about this dress is that is can easily transition to a more casual setting. Paired with ankle booties and cozy blanket scarf make this a great brunch or shopping look. Try it with a denim jack, printed flats or even a strappy sandal for a fun weekend outfit.

I was going to choose one, but it’s so hard. I love all these looks, so cute and pretty but still very corporate!

I love most style shown, not just on acc for this blue lace dress…I am trying to look early for a spring wedding.
Spring in S. TX is SUMMER, but am older and prefer something with some sleeve…….all dressy dresses are sleeveless WHY ! ! There is a very blousy blue/teal dress, but the big loose top while it looks GREAT I am 5’2″ and am just afraid it would make me look even shorter and WIDE……

Need some dresses with a little sleeve. I also REALLY love the purple with little flounces all the way down,
but once again, would have to try to deal with a filmy scarf that would be HOT when it’s HOT and STICKY here.
I didn’t choose the outside venue for a Tx May wedding…….
