Little Red Swimsuit

This is going to sound pretty ridiculous but I think the one look that I loved most from my trip to Spain was this red swimsuit. Not the super adorable #LWD I wore (coming to the blog tomorrow) or that awesome white once piece with the poms + floral embroidery. It was this simple yet still totally sexy little red swimsuit.

RED SWIMSUIT: ASOS | HAT: ASOS | SUNNIES: NORDSTROM | BUTTON UP: OLD NAVY

I knew we would be spending a good chunk of our time in Barcelona and Ibiza by some sort of pool or beach situation. It was one of the things I was most excited about. So much so that I bought an embarrassing number of swimsuits + bikinis before the trip. Like a ridiculous amount that I knew I would be returning about half of. I got gingham, florals, stripes, one pieces, two pieces, high waisted, low backs, etc. And to be fair, I fell in love with almost everything which made the returning part of this extremely difficult. But as soon as I saw this red one piece online, it’s like I had this perfect vision of my lounging on a beach in Formentera with a bronzed glow and sangria in hand. And guys – it happened.

I think what drew me to this red swimsuit the most was the simplicity. Let’s be real – we all had those daydreams of being Baywatch babes running in slow-mo at some point in our lives. I’ve always wanted a sexy red swimsuit so when I found it, I knew I had to have it and that Spain would be the perfect place to take it out for a spin.

I can honestly say that I have never felt more confident, sexy, chic and cool than I did in this red stunner. And to be honest, there isn’t anything super special about it…except for the fact that is just felt SO flattering and perfect for a trip abroad. Does that make any sense??
