A few weeks ago, I shared the newest addition to my coffee system – the Keurig 2.0. Not only does this little beauty come in the 2015 Pantone Color of the Year Marsala but it basically the best thing ever. In addition to brewing single k-cups (or 2 or 3 because if you’re like me you need all the coffee) you can also brew Carafes for when you have friends & family in town or over for brunch. It’s pretty amazing.
To celebrate my new favorite appliance, I whipped up a few of my go-to coffee recipes to help get you through that Thursday slump. Enjoy!
Hazelnut Cream Coffee
Keurig K-Cup: Archer Farms Toasted Hazelnut
Fixings: Whipped cream and sugar to taste
Brew a single hazelnut k-cup (I typically opt for 8 or 10 oz). Add a splash of milk or creamer and sugar to taste. Top with a few dollops of whipped cream and sip for a sweet morning treat.
Cinnamon + Vanilla Black Coffee
Keurig K-Cup: Starbucks Vanilla Roast
Fixings: A few sprinkles of cinnamon and sugar to taste
Brew a single k-cup at 8 or 10 oz. Add a few sprinkles of sugar and cinnamon for a simple, bold flavor!
Iced Latte
Keurig K-Cup: Starbucks Pike Place Roast (2, brewed strong or the smallest brewing option)
Fixings: Milk, ice and sugar to taste
For a spin on the classic espresso based beverage, brew two k cups at the lowest brewing amount. Add the milk of your choice along with some sugar to taste. For an iced latte, add a few cubes of ice and a cute polka dot straw.
