How to Be the Cool Girl…

We all know her. That effortlessly chic, put-together, laid back chick that just seems to have the coolest damn wardrobe. Well, I am not her. But I think I have mastered how to dress like her…sometimes. It’s no secret that I love a good lazy-style situation that somehow transforms into an edgy resemblance of pajamas. Over the past year, my style has evolved into more casual-chic, especially now that I’ve transitioned out of an office job. And it’s an evolution that I really really love. Being comfy while still maintaining a little style is literally my dream combo.

So when it comes to being the cool girl, there are a few closet staples we all need to achieve that effortless look: leather leggings, sneakers and a blazer. Done. These are the items I tend to buy in bulk – I’m not kidding. I have about three pairs of these SPANX leggings that I keep in rotation and have enough boyfriend fit blazers to fit my boyfriend’s closet. And don’t even get me started on sneakers. I don’t know why I was so late to this trend but I live in sneakers 4-5 days out of the week. These grey slide-ons are from Target and I have received so many compliments on them. They look pretty designer to me.

Now that we have the look together, we all just need to totally embrace that cool-girl attitude and rock it all day errrryday #amiright?!
