head over heels

As seen recently (here, here and here) I have become a huge fan of Sole Society. I have fallen completely head over heels –pun intended– with the modern and on-trend styles paired with their chic-on-a-budget platform. You can imagine my overwhelming  happiness and excitement when I was asked to show my readers how I would style a fabulous pair of Sole Society shoes. For me, I am obsessed with the Anneke. Inspired by the Valentino Rockstud and at a fraction of the price, I love the chic, sexy and super classic look of these kitten heels. The stud detail and patent material are the perfect mix of edgy and feminine – my kind of combo.

For today’s post, I wanted to show you guys two ways to wear this style. You already know by know how much I love taking pieces in my closet and remixing them from day to night, office to brunch, and everything in between so this post was super fun for me.

Keep reading for more details on how I styled the Anneke in black for a casual, weekend look and then throwing on a cool combo for a fun night out!

Look One
Because the shoes are a little edgier, I wanted to balance them out with a lace peplum top and a pair of casual distressed jeans. Throwing on a leopard clutch adds a unique touch and ties the entire look together.

Look Two
What better way to rock a pair of chic pumps than by pairing them with a matching floral, lace combo. This fun and flirty set from Georgina Chapman’s collection for JCPenney was not only super affordable (both pieces for under $50!) but the peplum top and cropped pant are so unique and the perfect mix of edgy and girly.
