I am always on the hunt for easy and healthy recipes. One pot wonders if you will. With my favorite food being pasta, it can be tricky to find something that is both good-for-me and yummy. After a recent run to BJ’s, I picked up this Barilla Gluten Free Penne to try on one of my go-to pasta recipes. Pasta is pasta and not really a salad but swapping my regular noodles for the gluten free option seemed like one step closer!
One (1) box of Barilla® Gluten Free – Penne; 12 oz
One (1) cup chopped asparagus spears
1/4 Olive Oil
Salt, pepper ad crushed red paper to garnish
Boil the pasta per package directions. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the asparagus (can cook via microwave or oven – your preference. Chop the asparagus into small bite-sized pieces and set aside. Drain the pasta and toss with olive oil. Add in the spices and asparagus and stir. Then serve!
