floral stripes & CapFABB

Last night I attended my first CapFABB meetup where I got the chance to meet some amazing and fashionable girls – #FashionBloggersUnite! The event was held at Macy’s for the launch of their Impulse Collection and let me just say – this was sooo hard. Since I gave up shopping for Lent, I had to really fight the temptation of the gorgeous frocks being modeled right before my eyes. I was pretty excited to finally wear this amazing Target pencil skirt and show off my take on the pattern mixing trend (also seen here). The color of this kaleidoscope-floral-ish print paired with some tiny stripes and simple black heels seemed like the perfect stylish yet still work appropriate dress for a fun mixer. And t didn’t hurt that  got several complements from my fellow fashionistas 🙂

There were so  many fun looks at the launch – pattern on pattern, mint, jumpsuits and more. Check out some of my faves below!
Okay, this necklace s too amazing for words. Mint + butterflies = super feminine and perfect for your Spring/Summer wardrobe.
The detail on this jumpsuit was such a sweet and fun surprise.
Seriously, how amazing is this look. The colors. The print. The matchy-matchyness of it all. I’m dying and can’t wait to try.
If you are looking for some affordable and fun pieces for your Spring and Summer looks, head over to Macy’s and check out their Impulse Collection. And when you do, make sure you share below so I can live vicariously through you until April 1st 🙂
