Fall is here which mean the holidays are right around the corner. To get myself in the holiday party spirit, I decided to throw a little Fall Harvest Celebration for a few of my girls. You guys know how much I love a good party, especially when I get to play hostess, so I couldn’t wait to bring a few of my babes together for a much needed and well deserved girl’s night in.

The Invitations
Before I get into the necessities for the perfect fall soiree, I have to rave about my invites. It might seem old fashioned but man I love a good piece of snail mail. While I typically only send over paper invites for more formal events like a big birthday dinner or Friendsgiving, I couldn’t resist these adorable holiday themed invites from Basic Invite. In case you aren’t familiar with them already, Basic Invite is my new go-to for stationary, cards and so much more. They are currently offering a ton of great personalized holiday cards that I love and I may just have to get my Christmas cards through them, too! The best part? Right now Basic Invite is offering 30% off with coupon code: holi30. So get your shop on ladies, the holidays are right around the corner!

Throwing something together for girl’s night in is by far one of my favorite hobbies. There is almost nothing I love more than girl talk over wine, cheese and lots and lots of chocolate. Throw in some autumnal flare and you’ve got the perfect fall themed celebration. And let’s be real, adding a theme makes everything 100000% better. Check out some my tips + tricks for a great girl’s night in below!

-
Stock up on seasonal swag that can easily transition from an adorable tablescape to home decor.
-
Shop your home first. I love finding entertainment pieces that I already own and mixing things up a bit. I’ll pair a fun new piece with items I’ve used in the past. I also love mixing metals, colors and textures from different “themes”.
-
Keep the snacks simple and have lots of wine on deck. I live for a cheese + crackers combo and also encourage my guests to bring their favorite snacks. I tend to splurge when it comes to the wine or cocktails. What can I say, I love a bar cart.
-
Do the setup early so you can relax before guests arrive. I love the feeling of just taking a beat to get ready or freshen up my makeup (or sweats, let’s be real) before guests arrive. Knowing that everything is in place hours beforehand gets rid of all o f that extra stress that comes along with hosting.
