My Current Beauty Routine: All Things Skincare

I’ll be the first to admit that when it comes to a beauty routine, I’m usually all over the place. I love trying new products and brands, sharing them with you only when I love them. But, there will always be a few staples I truly love when it comes to what I use for my hair, skin and makeup essentials. These are usually things that I’ve tried over and over to really make sure they work for me – and are the items I tend to buy in bulk just in case they’re ever sold out out, god forbid, are no longer produced.

I’m thinking of making this a series – let me know if there are other roundups you’d be interested in! Today, we’ll start with all things skincare: face and body. So, if you’ve ever wondered what products I truly swear by, keep scrolling for a round up of my current favorites!

My Favorite Beauty Products: Skincare

Hatch Belly Oil: I swear by this stuff and low key want to use it even after pregnancy. I apply to my bump, boobs, butt and legs every morning and every night. Stretch marks are genetic so there isn’t much you can do to truly avoid them but my love for this oil goes beyond stretch mark prevention. I am obsessed with how lightweight it is and the moisturizing factor is unmatched. No more greasy oils that leave a weird residue. Really love this stuff.

St Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow Kit: I have been feeling super pasty lately and this St Tropez tanning mousse has really come in clutch. Not only have I finally found a tanning product that is great for olive skin tones but it applies like butter, doesn’t have a sticky/smelly finish and is pretty much streak free when you use the tanning mit. I like to use this before an event or photoshoot when I need a quick glow boost.

TAN-LUXE The Butter: For a more gradual tan, you can’t do better than The Butter by TAN-LUXE. Lightweight, moisturizing and doesn’t turn you orange – what’s not to love. I apply this as my body moisturizer/lotion daily and love the gradual glow I get from it.

Aveeno Skin Relief Fragrance-Free Body Wash: I have severely dry skin. B likes to call it alligator skin and he’s not exaggerating. Aveeno products have always been a favorite of mine but this body wash is a serious go-to. It soothes my dry skin and is lightweight enough that B can use it, too.

CETAPHIL Daily Facial Cleanser: This is my favorite daily cleanser. I simplified my routine when I got pregnant and this gentle face wash is just so good. It’s lightweight, does the job and I feel good about the ingredients.

Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser: Because I’m limited when it comes to skincare products/treatments to help with the fun hormonal acne I’ve been experiencing, I love using this foaming cleanser one to two times each week whenever I’m experiencing breakouts.

Mario Badescu Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Facial Toner: This toner has become a serious staple. The rosewater scent is fresh without overdoing it and it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and oh so clean.

Mario Badescu Drying Cream: I am a huge fan of this drying cream when it comes to my hormonal acne “spot” treatments. I apply a little to a breakout before I go to bed and by the time I wake up, the greasy bump is gone. It’s magic.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Facial Moisturizer: When it comes to a lightweight moisturizer, this stuff is my jam. I apply morning and night after cleansing and toning. It doesn’t make my skin feel greasy at all and it goes on super smooth.

Supergoop! Mattescreen: I’m late to the SPF game but this has been a major staple in my routine. I apply every morning before I put on makeup and just seriously love it. There’s no white residue. It doesn’t smell like sunscreen and the matte finish makes it the perfect “primer” for the day.
