Cozy winter style brought to you by Shoe Carnival.
I don’t know about you guys but do you ever feel like you wear the same basic outfit season after season? When the temps drop, I tend to slide into leggings, throw on a pair of boots and call it a day. Zero effort and zero inspiration. If you’re anything like me, then today’s post is just for you. I’m so pumped to be teaming up with Shoe Carnival to show you a few ways to remix your cozy winter style without breaking bank.
Now, this doesn’t mean leggings & boots are off the table. Today’s post is all about challenging yourself to break away from your go-to pair of cozy footwear and try something new. Keep scrolling for some of my tips & tricks to remix your favorite cozy winter looks just in time for the holiday season!
Tip #1 – Be Cool.
Y’all probably know by now I am a huge fan of a faux leather legging situation. I usually pair mine with black sneakers and a casual tee. To mix things up a bit, I paired my typical winter weekend uniform with these really cool leather Converse Chuck Taylors. This is actually my very first pair of Converses and I am completely in love. They give any look an instant coolness factor and are super comfy for running holiday shopping errands.
Tip #2 – Be Cozy.
I’m just gonna go ahead and say this, I’ve always been obsessed with the furry boot trend. Tall boots, short boots – it doesn’t matter. I just can’t get enough of a comfy boot lined with a soft fur padding. These Bearpaw Abigail Boots are perfect for lounging around in an oversized sweater with your morning cup of coffee. Whether I’m catching up on a favorite book or decorating for the holidays, this is the uniform you’ll find me in this winter.
Tip #3 – Be Edgy.
As soon as I came across the No Parking Alona Bootie, I fell in love. While I’m not new to the bootie trend, I’ve always shied away from an edgier, black version like these. I immediately knew I could remix my casual + cozy winter style with their help. I paired my comfiest black jeans with a leather jacket, oversized scarf and topped off the look with these black booties. They also come in a few other neutral colors and they may or may not be on my wishlist for Santa.
